PHOTOGRAPHY

I was lucky to have my first teenage job in a local photo studio, where I assisted the photographer

and did photo retouching for about six years. Becoming intimately involved in the every day aspects

of studio set-up, lighting, and composition led me to photographing weddings every weekend,

both as a “get the improv shots” photographer and as a lead.

At university, I transferred to another local studio and worked for another five years.

I continued photography on the job and as a hobby, and I have managed to set up successful paths

by experimentation, many hours of practice, and—let’s face it—lots of YouTube tutorials.
